AUTHOR

K. GERALD TORRENCE

K. Gerald Torrence is a lawyer, educator, writer, ordained Baptist minister, and social activist living in Atlanta, Georgia. Having grown up in a family of lifelong educators, he understands the importance of education and information in empowering oppressed communities and fostering upward mobility.

He earned his undergraduate degree at Morehouse College and his juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. After practicing law for nineteen years, he transitioned into academia, spending over ten years as an assistant professor of business law at institutions such as Tuskegee University, Morehouse College, Philander Smith College, and Arkansas Baptist College. As a licensed and ordained Baptist minister, he continues to inspire and lead through both education and faith.
